Create an Account

General Questions

SkillPairs connects people who want to teach a skill with people who want to learn it. Create a profile, list what you can teach and what you'd like to learn, and use our matching tools to find partners. Schedule sessions, communicate, and exchange knowledge.
Basic membership is free. Some features like promoted listings, verified profiles, or paid private sessions may require payments. We use Stripe to process payments securely.
Verification usually requires identity confirmation and optionally a short portfolio of your work. Visit your account settings and follow the verification steps.
We encourage meeting via video calls inside the platform or in public places. Use our rating and review system to choose trusted partners. Report issues via the contact form or the report button on profiles or listings.
Payments are processed via Stripe. Refunds depend on the instructor's refund policy — please check the listing details and contact support if there's a payment dispute. Admins and support can assist with refunds on a case-by-case basis.

Account & Profile

First, make sure you are logged in. If you still can't access your profile, try clearing cookies or using an incognito window. If issues persist, contact support at info@skillpars.com and include your username and a brief description. Our team will investigate account status or session issues.
Go to your profile page and click "Edit Profile". Update your bio, skills you teach, skills you want to learn, and location. Save changes and they will be visible on your profile.

Support & Policies

Use the report button on the user's profile or listing page. Provide details and any evidence (screenshots). Our moderation team will review and take action if necessary.
